Capacity Building for Entrepreneurship Mela Under Mission YUVA was successfully held at Government Polytechnic College Reasi on 02-08-2025 in collaboration with District Employment Counselling Centre, Reasi to equip Youth with essential skill, entrepreneurial insights and focusing on empowerment of youth of J&K. Ms Annie Vaid, Asst Director, DECC Reasi delivered an introductory address, who explained the objectives of the Entrepreneurship Mela and gave a brief overview of Mission YUVA. Er. Arun Bangotra in his address introduced the capacity-building modules under Mission YUVA and emphasised on creating a conducive environment where the youth can feel confident to take risks, innovate and build businesses. His speech inspired the participants by offering a comprehensive overview of the project and emphasizing the importance of self-motivation among government employees to foster the culture of entrepreneurship. Various hands-on sessions in Canva, PowerPoint, and other relevant digital tools was also organised. Special emphasis was placed on counselling for female aspirants, fostering inclusivity in entrepreneurship.

Er Rajesh Basotra, Supdt ITI Reasi presented the vote of thanks. Large number of students from Govt. Polytechnics, ITIs and Degree colleges explored the opportunities in skilling, livelihood and innovation.
